Waiting for her name to be called among the other hopefuls for the school Christmas play, Alexandra Birchmore felt the anxiety of having to audition in front of her fellow class mates, never knowing how they would react to her voice, standing in the middle of the stage looking out into the darkness with a single spotlight over her she began her song, the feeling of expressing her emotions in that audition shinned through her performance and she ended with a smile on her face. From a young age Alexandra loved to sing and listen to the classics her family would play as she walked in everyday from school, the music her family loved were the classics to the blues, this led to Alexandra’s journey into music and began singing regularly.
